- 1 measure grenadine
Tequila Sunrise is a favorite drink of all because it just doesn’t tastes well but looks great too! The grenadine adds a fine sweetness to the orange juice and tequila which then becomes more prominent as you slowly slip and sip towards the bottom of the glass.
So This is How We Shake it:
Pour tequila in a highball Collins glass with cracked ice topped with orange juice, stir or shake the concoction, it doesn’t need a great vigor though, and you have to handle this lady with panache. Add grenadine by tilting the glass and please corner your lip while pouring grenadine down side by flipping the bottle vertically in a jiffy. The grenadine should go straight to the bottom and then rise up slow. You can then present the Tequila Sunrise Cocktail. All served in a Highball Glass.
The tequila sunrise cocktail gets its name from the way the grenadine settles in the bottom of the glass, giving the impression of a sunrise.
